My
6 year old son Sean Thomas has been attending the Center for over a
year receiving tutoring services from Sr. St. John Delany. He often shares
the wonderful stories and discussions he has had at the Center. I love
that he is being asked to discuss and think about what he has read. As
a parent I could not be more pleased with his progress and I credit the
Center for reinforcing Sean’s passion for reading and learning. It has been an amazing experience for Sean Thomas and soon my son Jack will be starting this fall. He is already excited.

Our
experience with the PACE Literacy Center/White Plains has been great.
The Saturday schedule of classes that was available for us was very
convenient and helpful for our family. I am grateful to Sr. St. John
Delany for the cordiality and patience she showed my daughter. Sister
made my daughter feel comfortable while dealing with her as her one to
one tutor. I highly recommend this program to any family that may be in need of
literacy help for their children, particularly for tutoring for high
school regents exams. With the support my daughter received at the
Center, she successfully passed her global regents with a grade of 85.
My younger daughter has also benefited from working at the Center. We
have seen improvement in her comprehension skills. Thank you for all
